- Functional vs Emotional Motivators - Great products balance both functional utility and emotional resonance.
- Delight Allocation Strategy - Allocate product delight efforts as: 50% low delight (functional only), 40% deep delight (functional + emotional), 10% surface delight (emotional only).
- 10 Delight Checks - Every product feature should pass checks for: business impact, alignment with core experience, emotional + functional value, sustainability over time, measurability, avoiding pitfalls, qual + quant validation, inclusivity, early integration, and balanced delight types.
